C.S. Lewis

If you’ve been up all night and cried till you have no more tears left in you – you will know that there comes in the end a sort of quietness. You feel as if nothing was ever going to happen again. ― C.S. Lewis, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. (HarperCollins May 24, 2005) Originally published October 16th 1950.

  1. I have never actually read The Chronicles of Narnia, though I have flipped through The Problem of Pain and find it very quotable.

I had a professor who actually majored in C. S. Lewis. I never knew you could major in an author boy I could have been in college a lifetime.

Nevertheless, Lewis & Blake are probably my favorite reads when it comes to spirituality. I have a lot of respect for their work.

Particularly with Blake, because it is said, that he said, he saw a tree of angels outside his bedroom window when he was a boy.

I love wrapping my head around that vision.
